It's supposed to be cultivated for its striking foliage (hence the common name "jewel orchid"), but the leaves don't do that much for me. If you're really curious, you can google a picture. I gotta say that I like the flowers, though. A bit more restraint than the rest of the tribe.grumble grumble I don't know why Blogger won't give me italics any more.
